Twelve extremely simple tales which are the first Georgina Garcia-Mauriño wrote. Georgina is an author, illustrator and educational content creator with 28 published titles. She wrote this set “Al encuentro de Mirlo” when her son was just a toddler and she was sharing his first discoveries through all senses. When they finally met Mirlo (Spanish name for blackbird) they learned how to listen carefully inside the silence. After this title came “Cancionero de Mirlo” (Mirlo Songbook) followed by the successful collection and educational program Find “Cuéntame una Ópera” (Tell Me An Opera). And Mirlo became the inspiration for Georgina’s lifelong project “Mirlo Music” meant to enlighten your life with the best music of all time so that you can cultivate your inner garden.
